I am still on a learning journey, as you must study history and the Church Fathers’/tradition to get all of the practices of the church. Since the Catholic Church gave us the bible, She existed before the bible. I am not Catholic, but I have learned these facts from listening to Fr. Mike Schmidt Catechism in a Year podcast.
Thanks for sharing. I do find this interesting and would like to hear from Zane too. I have so many questions such as praying to Mary, was Mary sinless, did she ascend to heaven without a physical death etc. I can’t find evidence of this in the Bible. I have been reading through the entire Bible the last few years and I find new information every time.
